children are living in war. Tens of thousands have been killed in recent months, while hundreds of thousands have been displaced from their homes, orphaned, kidnapped and held hostage. Many suffer from malnutrition, diseases, shortages in basic needs, and severe psychological damage
The lives and well-being of all children living in our conflict-stricken region concern us all. Their suffering is our direct responsibility and will affect the future of us all
Some seventy artists accepted our call to participate in a street art exhibition raising a cry to end the war and prevent the further suffering of children living in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank
The artists come from diverse backgrounds, from both Jewish and Arab communities. They include seasoned, well-known artists alongside young, emerging talents, and their styles are varied. They all share a deep concern for all children in the region
The artworks, most of which were created specifically for this exhibition, aim to bring awareness to the harm inflicted upon children to the public sphere, for all to see, to give voice to their silent cry, and urge us all to act swiftly and forcefully to end the suffering of all children
